SFFAMA Presents ‘THE BEAUTY EXPO 2010”

We are celebrating “BEAUTY” at The First Annual “Beauty Expo” and “Top Stylist Competition”.

This is a competition between a person or a team of hairstylists and/or make-up artists to come up with the best make-up and hairstyle. Each person or a team will be assigned a model and will have a 30 minute to doll up the model. A runway, walk-off will commence after.

Beauty product vendors will also be on hand to introduce their products to the attendees. We will also feature a fashion showcase by a local up and coming fashion designers.

Makeup stations provided by Pigment Cosmetics.

Dedicated To Katie Piper

The Katie Piper Foundation was set up to make a difference to burns survivors.

Katie feels that she’s been extremely fortunate with the life-changing treatment and support she received after her attack. So much so that she set up this foundation to improve rehabilitation facilities for burns survivors while providing a network of support and information on burns, scars and treatment, both medical and non-medical.

The charity currently has three trustees: Mr Mohammed Ali Jawad, the reconstruction surgeon who performed pioneering surgery to rebuild Katie’s face and her medical adviser who identified Lamalou as key to Katie’s recovery; Ros Ponder, media adviser and television producer; and Martin Dix – commercial advisor with years of experience in accelerated growth or rapid roll-out enterprise.
