Edopeno launched in 2007 and our focus is to bring to you the latest news, stories, and information about the Bay Area. We invite you to explore and enjoy the Bay Area aesthetic: the sights, the sounds, the tastes, the experience. We also strive to become your hub to all the various Bay Area Talent and Artists: comprised of models and actors, photographers, designers, computer programmers, and more.

MIRA TORRES is a freelance beauty, fashion, and eco-living writer whose links and articles have been featured on various online publications including San Francisco’s  7×7 and Blackbook magazine. She studied Fashion Merchandising at the Academy of Art University and holds a degree in Psychology from Ashford University.  When she’s not indulging in her fashion and beauty product obsession, she likes to paint, horribly sing to music in the car, read trashy fiction, and force feed homemade “gourmet” food to her husband & son. You can e-mail her at torresmira@yahoo.com or follow her on twitter @miratorres

Joonbug.com is a web property of Skynet Media Group, an interactive marketing and media organization. We have built a large network of social professionals and connected them with hot venues and events in New York City, The Hamptons, Boston, Miami, Philadelphia, New Jersey, Los Angeles and Washington D.C. We are one of the few media organizations that are able to actually illustrate photographs of our demographics. Our advantage is our ability to bring people together and keep them current on the latest trends in fashion, fitness, travel, music and nightlife.

SF Indie Fashion is a web site and online resource dedicated to independent designers in the Bay Area and beyond. We love the stores that sell ‘em, the shows that feature ‘em and the people that buy ‘em. We strongly believe in the importance of conscious consumerism and supporting San Francisco’s independent fashion scene, locally-owned boutiques and businesses, female entrepreneurs and creative endeavors of all kinds.

Now that you know what we’re all about, let’s talk about what we’re not about. We aren’t here to tell you what to wear, how to wear it, who’s in or who’s out. We aren’t style mavens, nor are we always the best dressed bitches in the room. And while we love spreading the word about the indie movement, we aren’t indie snobs. We try to buy local whenever possible, but you’ll find mainstream labels in our closets and bad reality television in our DVRs. The bottom line? We cover what we know, what we like and what we’re currently obsessed with.
